Need help cooking exam?

I got a cooking exam on tuesday. It has to do with salad, fruits and cheese in a dish. I was thinking of making Apple Pecan chicken salad with blue cheese in it. But my one problem is what kind of dressing should i put on it. I need a kind of dressing that will match perfect with salad also to impress my chef.
