What is the name of this movie!?

Its this movie about this older guy who (i guess) searches in these barrels or bags for special seeds of some sort. All i remember is the guy and this little girl are searching in this bag of seeds picking out "special" ones. The other scene i remember is this same older guy sets down this seed, i think pecan, in this guys car and when he turns around to look at it, it turned into a pie. Please help me find the name of this movie. I've been searching EVERY where.
