Why didn't Jose Baez ask an emotional Lee if he molested Casey to in fact,"follow in his fathers footsteps"?

I think he is trying to keep that door shut from the prosecution.It hasn't been proving she was molested,besides that is no excuse.There are many women molested and raped in this messed up world,but do they all kill their children?NO.The defense is grasping for straws.
